When: Festival, July 1-10. FREE BIKE Party, July 3.
Where: The festival will be all over the Seattle area. The FREE BIKE Party is on NW 49th Street at 17th Ave NW.
Who: People of all ages who want to celebrate biking and local bike businesses
After four successful years showcasing independent makers, explorers and small creative companies in the local bicycle industry, the Seattle-based Pedaler’s Fair is emerging from the exhibition hall and pouring into the streets as part of Seattle’s brand new FREE BIKE Party.
With Seattle Bike Blog now at the helm along with Brock Howell of Bike Happy Cascadia and Jason Goodman of Swift Industries, Pedaler’s Fair will be a central part of an all-day block party July 3 in Ballard complete with music, food, beer and summer bike fun.
The Pedaler’s Fair brings together many different types of bicycle subcultures: family riders, cargo bikers, mountain bikers, commuters, messengers and weekend warriors. And the fifth Pedaler’s Fair will be bigger than ever.
The FREE BIKE Party will kickoff ten days of free people-powered bike fun all across Seattle we are calling FREE BIKE. Individuals and organizations will be invited to keep the FREE BIKE spirit going by hosting their own bike rides and events July 1-10. These will be promoted on the FREE BIKE print and online calendars.
