FREE BIKE is a ten-day celebration of bicycling in Seattle with DIY activities organized by anyone and everyone.
All people are encouraged to create their own fun rides, parties and events in celebration of bicycling and post those activities here to recruit people to join them. FREE BIKE is facilitated by Seattle Bike Blog.
Pedaler’s Fair: July 2
Pedaler’s Fair will be the biggest highlight of FREE BIKE. Pedaler’s Fair is an all-day street party in Ballard that incorporates the Cascadia Handbuilt Bicycle & Bike Goods Trade Show, Ballard Brewery Festival, Food Truck Pod, Live Music, and other activities.

Cascadia Handbuilt Bicycle & Bike Goods Trade Show
The heart of the Pedaler’s Fair is the Cascadia Handbuilt Bicycle & Bike Goods Trade Show. It’s is an annual marketplace for Cascadia-based, bicycle-inspired small businesses to exhibit their goods. Pedaler’s Fair hosts 50+ exhibitors showing off their bike frames, components, accessories, apparel and crafts to more than 1,000 guests. In addition to exhibitor booths, there are tutorials, workshops, presentations.
Ballard Brewery Festival Passport
Anchored by Hilliard’s Beer, Peddler Brewing and NW Peaks Brewery, the FREE BIKE Party is also adjacent to the Ballard Brewery Festival with all other Ballard-based breweries in attendance. Tickets for the Brewery Festival will be available the day-of the event from Hilliard’s Beer and all proceeds will be donated to Urban Sparks, a local nonprofit that catalyzes small parks and bikeways projects in Seattle.
Food Truck Pod
A Food Truck Pod of ten food trucks will be in the middle of the street party, providing whatever food options your heart desires.
Listen to local bands play all day in the outdoor yard of Peddler Brewing.

- Bike shops to fix your flats or give your bike a quick tune-up.
- Ample bike parking.
